Dr. Eagan is a 1999 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and has been in private practice since 2003. He is a licensed chiropractor as well as an Athletic Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Dr. Eagan began his practice in a small, one room, 500 square foot office located in a gym in Danvers. Today Dr. Eagan has two office locations each equipped with x-ray, the latest therapeutic modalities, an experienced staff for scheduling appointments and answering any questions you may have.
In addition to his doctorate in chiropractic, Dr. Eagan has two bachelors degrees from Salem State University: Sports Fitness with a concentration in Athletic Training and Biology with a concentration in Medical Technology. Currently, Dr. Eagan is working towards a Diplomate/Fellow status with the American Academy of Spine Physicians.
Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Eagan worked for a number of years as an athletic trainer and strength and conditioning specialist. Because of his background in sports medicine, Dr. Eagan's treatment plans include more muscle therapy than most chiropractors. It is Dr. Eagan's extensive knowledge in both Sports Medicine and Chiropractic that has proven to be an effective combination for treating his patients.
Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that our body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism, comprised of an intricate series of connected systems (neurological, skeletal, muscular, etc.). Because these connected systems are all directly related to the spine, chiropractic is a specialty that deals with the body as a whole. It is the science of locating offending spinal subluxations (misalignments), the art of reducing their impact on the nervous system, and the philosophy of all things natural.
Dr. Eagan's commitment to quality care and his true empathy for his patients sets him far above others in his profession. Very few doctors take fibromyalgia seriously and I really appreciated his genuine concern for my symptoms.
